Clement Poitrenaud, Yoann Maestri and Jean Bouilhou each scored a try for the home side at Stade Ernest Wallon and David Skrela added three penalties and two conversions.
Former All Blacks stand-off Andrew Mehrtens secured a losing bonus point for Racing with a penalty three minutes from full-time.
The Parisians, who scored a solitary try through South African lock Jacques Cronje on the hour mark but were otherwise reliant exclusively on Mehrtens' boot, are now eight points ahead of Biarritz in the race for the sixth and final play-off place.
